FEATURE LIST
This is a real time strategy game modeled after the 20 year old classic video game 'Modem Wars'.

You'll need to run it with a GameBoy Advance emulator or install the ROM onto a flash cartridge for use on a GameBoy Advance.

Pocket Commander 2008 by John A. Reder was inspired by the groundbreaking game 'Modem Wars' by Dan Bunten (1988). This was one of my all-time favorites! I wanted to pay my respects to Dan for his much-overlooked masterpiece. Long before the internet craze and real-time strategy(RTS) games like Command and Conquer, Dan created the first multiplayer (Modem to modem) real-time strategy game. This game is my attempt to recapture those 20 year old memories in a single player game for the GameBoy Advance.

Pocket Commander II 2011 by John A. Reder - This takes it up a level by expanding the battlefield by 800%! Also the game features Probe launching and single button Group selection! Please read the text file included for all of the changes.

The zipped download files each contain two files:

PocketCommander.gba or PocketCommanderII.gba - this is the ROM for use with the emulator or Linker cartridge.

PocketCommander.txt - This is the documentation for Pocket Commander.
PocketCommander II.txt - This is the documentation for Pocket Commander II.
