John A. Reder Presents Raid Under Vectrexia! v1.0.0 © 2024 John A Reder, all rights reserved. TacticalNeuronics.com RAID UNDER VECTREXIA Version: 1.0.0 Creator: John A. Reder Website: TacticalNeuronics.com Dive into the underwater warzone of Vectrexia! Take command of a formidable submarine in "RAID UNDER VECTREXIA," where each mission tests your tactical skills, resource management, and battle-readiness in the perilous Sea of Vectrexia. Equip yourself to sink enemy fleets and defend your vessel against relentless attacks in this immersive submarine warfare experience. Mission Overview As the captain, your mission is straightforward yet challenging: sink as many enemy vessels as possible. Navigate a treacherous ocean landscape, engage enemy fleets, and outmaneuver lethal Anti-Sub hunter-killers. Use stealth, precision, and strategy to complete your mission while safeguarding your submarine’s integrity. Gameplay Features State-of-the-Art Submarine Your submarine is equipped with: Torpedoes for targeted destruction, A mortar cannon for long-range bombardments, and Underwater stealth capabilities to evade detection and gain the upper hand. Supply Ship - Your Lifeline Start each mission with your Supply Ship stationed nearby. As your essential support, it provides critical resupplies, repairs, and rearming when undamaged. Protect it at all costs—once it’s destroyed, you’ll be forced to operate without resupplies. Strategic Resource Management Successful captains balance offense with careful resource management: Fuel: Monitor your consumption closely; a fuel shortage will leave you stranded. Ballast: Essential for depth control—keep it maintained to avoid dangerous descent. Hull: Withstands limited damage; once fully compromised, the mission ends. Command Stations Navigate between the main command stations to control every aspect of your vessel: Bridge (Main Hub) From the Bridge, view essential status indicators, including: Score: Track the number of enemy ships destroyed. Depth Control: Adjust submarine depth; evade or engage enemies as needed. Orientation: Control your sub’s direction for effective positioning in battle. Stations Access: Select specific stations from the Bridge for seamless command. Gun Deck / Mortar Station Use the mortar for long-distance strikes on surface targets: Full 360-degree rotation allows for complete battlefield awareness. An aiming meter helps align powerful shots for maximum impact. Periscope / Torpedo Control Essential for targeting and firing torpedoes: Rotate the periscope to spot enemies and align your shots. Launch torpedoes from three tubes, each controlled individually, and aim with precision to deal substantial damage. Navigation / Intel View the map of Vectrexia’s Sea to track enemy fleets and strategize movements. Plan sector-to-sector travel based on enemy presence and fuel levels. Fuel and engine condition are displayed, aiding in route optimization. Engineering / Repairs Keep your submarine battle-ready by managing repairs on key systems: Critical repairs to engines, ballast, and torpedo tubes can be conducted at sea. Damaged systems increase vulnerability—damaged periscopes and mortars lose effectiveness, while a failing engine leads to higher fuel consumption. Hull repairs aren’t possible at sea; avoid enemy fire as much as possible to preserve it. The Element of Surprise Gain a tactical advantage by approaching enemy fleets undetected. Launch a surprise strike to inflict maximum damage before enemies triangulate your position. Once they’re aware of your presence, expect a fierce counterattack from depth charges, mortars, and advanced sonar tracking. Evading and outmaneuvering enemy fire becomes essential as you attempt to escape or reposition. Enemy Types and Threat Levels The Sea of Vectrexia is patrolled by a variety of enemy ships, each with unique capabilities and threat ratings: Cargo Ships (Threat Levels 2–3): Primarily transport vessels, weaker in offense. Military Ships (Threat Level 4): Armed with more formidable defenses. Military Intelligence Ships (Threat Level 5): Equipped with advanced tracking and support abilities. Weapons Platforms (Threat Level 6): Launch missiles at your sub—approach with extreme caution. Sub Hunter-Killer Ships (Threat Level 10): The ultimate threat, equipped to assist other vessels in tracking and engaging your submarine. Mission End Your mission concludes when your submarine sustains 100% hull damage or runs out of fuel. Upon mission completion, a score summary will display, showing the total number and types of ships you’ve sunk. Do You Have What It Takes? Every mission in "RAID UNDER VECTREXIA" challenges you to use tactics, resourcefulness, and precision. Protect your sub, eliminate threats, and navigate the hostile waters to emerge as the top captain. Prepare for battle—good luck, Captain!
